These are the font services I currently offer. If you have a project you need help with, email me.
Can’t find exactly what you need on font marketplaces? Licensing costs are too expensive? Need a font to work on a specific system? These are some of the problems that can be solved with a custom typeface.
For a font to look its best on screens it needs hinting instructions. The process of hinting varies from semiautomatic to entirely manual, depending on the needs of each project. I can help you in both cases.
Fonts might behave differently than expected if they don’t follow the specifications, so preparing a font for release means lots of testing. I test everything against the specs and in different OSes and apps to be sure every aspect of your font works, making corrections where necessary. I can export your OpenType fonts (otf or ttf), variable fonts and webfonts (eot, woff, woff2, obfuscated ttf and even svg).
Repetitive tasks are inherent to the process of font design, but they don’t have to be. Some of these tasks can be easily automated, saving you days, weeks or even months of work. In fact, I have done so while designing Rocher Color. Some of these scripts are open source and available at my Github. If you can’t find a tool to automate your repetitive work, let’s have a talk. I can build this tool for you.
